Below Deck Mediterranean is back with an almost all-new crew for season 7, and here's what fans should know about incoming Chef Dave White before the show's July 11 premiere. Returning to the Bravo series is Captain Sandy Yawn, who will be steering the superyacht Home around the coast of Malta. Along with Sandy, the crew will be joined by only one familiar Below Deck face: popular Deckhand Mzi "Zee" Dempers.

Making their Bravo debut alongside Sandy, Mzi, and Dave are Natasha Webb (Chief Stew), Kyle Viljoen (Second Stew), Natalya Scudder (Third Stew), Raygan Tyler (Bosun), Storm Smith (Deckhand), and Jason Gaskell (Deckhand). The first look of Below Deck Mediterranean season 7 doesn't just showcase heaps of drama, including the yacht scarily rocking sideways, but a potential romance between Dave and Natasha. Although Captain Sandy says that "The Chief Stew and Chef have to work well together," as their repertoire "permeates through the boat," it doesn't take long for the Home crew to speculate about Dave and Natasha's status as co-workers.

At one point in the Below Deck Med season 7 trailer, Mzi even says to the Chef, "Dave, you and Natasha are dating, yeah?". Natasha is then separately grilled on the job by Kyle while tending to their stew duties. With Dave looking like he'll be a part of one of season 7's major storylines, here's what interested Below Deck Med viewers need to know about Dave.

Dave White's Hometown

Dave was born and raised in the United Kingdom. While it is unclear where in the UK he hails from, it seems as though Dave doesn't call the UK his permanent home anymore. Judging by his Instagram page, Dave has been traveling around the world for over a year. He has visited places such as France, California, and Peru.

Dave White's Career

The new Below Deck Med chef has almost a decade of experience under his belt as a Head Chef (via BravoTV). Described as someone who has worked "in some of London’s most prestigious kitchens," Dave has cooked on several yachts over the past seven years. In addition, Dave is the co-owner of two restaurants: Method Kitchen & Bar and Surfing Kitchen & Beach Bar, which are both located in France. Besides operating multiple businesses, Dave also focuses on giving back and providing aid across Europe. In early April,  Dave and Chef Eric Gephart traveled to the Ukrainian-Polish border to feed refugees displaced by Russia's February invasion.

Dave White's Instagram

Dave isn't just an experienced chef but an adventurer and nature enthusiast. When Dave isn't creating new recipes in the kitchen, the upcoming Below Deck Med chef partakes in several risk-taking activities like skydiving, mountain climbing, and skiing. According to Dave's Instagram, he suffered an accident and broke his back in December 2021. The adrenaline junkie returned to his thrill-seeking activities just one month later. Before Dave was injured and cast on the Below Deck franchise, he had plans to summit Mount Everest in April 2022 to raise money for the mental health nonprofit CALM. However, Dave's Mount Everest summit has now been pushed back to 2023. The decision to delay this intense journey was influenced by Dave's accident and his volunteer work in Ukraine.

Fans of Below Deck Mediterranean are excited to meet Dave and see his culinary skills for themselves, especially since previous chefs like Mila Kolomeitseva (season 4) and Hindrigo "Kiko" Lorran (season 5) haven't had the best experiences in the series. Between Dave's exciting personal life and his appearance in the season 7 trailer, viewers have a lot to look forward to. Hopefully, Dave's potential romance with Natasha does not affect his work while in Malta.
